Our current education system is driven by results. As a dedicated teacher I wanted to make sure that my students were getting the very best results that I could get them.
One way of ensuring my students succeeded involved unpacking the psychology that governs memory.
I drew on a number of sources, but two particular books that I recommend are “What every teacher needs to know about psychology” and “How I wish I taught Maths” which served as my gateway to psychology research.
After implementing the scientific research into my practice, my results demonstrated the value of these topics. I was asked to lead a short staff training on this topic, and created this training session. I hope that it helps you with your home teaching!
